Verifying Your Win Spin Account (KYC)
How to verify your Win Spin account: which ID, proof of address and payment documents we accept, how to upload them, review times and why documents get rejected.

What do I need to verify my Win Spin account?
You need three things: a valid photo ID, a recent proof of address, and — if we ask — a proof of payment that matches the method you used. That's the whole of our Know Your Customer (KYC) check, and clearing it before your first cash-out keeps the process quick.
Verification confirms three simple facts: that you are who you say you are, that you live where you say you live, and that the deposit came from an account in your own name. We ask for these because we are legally obliged to, and because it protects your balance from anyone else trying to access it.
You must be 18 or over to hold an account and to pass KYC. Documents in a name other than the account holder's cannot be accepted.
When do I need to show proof of payment?
We ask for proof of payment when you deposit by card or e-wallet, to confirm the account belongs to you. For a card, that means a photo showing your name, the first six and last four digits, and the expiry date — the middle digits and the CVV must be covered.
For e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller or Revolut, a screenshot of your account showing your name and email or account ID is enough. If you funded your account with cryptocurrency, we may request the transaction reference instead.
You can review the full list of accepted methods on our payments page, and the deposit minimum is a modest £1. Proof of payment is only requested where it applies to how you paid.
How do I upload my documents?
Log in, open Account and choose the Verification section, then upload each file into its labelled slot. The process takes a couple of minutes if your files are ready.
Have your documents saved as clear JPG, PNG or PDF files before you start. A photo taken on a phone in good light is perfectly acceptable — just make sure the whole document is in frame, in focus and not covered by glare. Upload one item per slot: ID, proof of address, and payment proof if requested.
Trouble signing in? Head to the login page first. Once your files are in, there's nothing more to do but wait for our team to review them.
What counts as proof of address?
A utility bill, bank statement or council tax letter dated within the last three months works as proof of address. It must show your full name and residential address matching your account details.
We can accept gas, electricity, water or broadband bills, and statements from your bank or card provider. Mobile phone bills are usually fine too. The document has to be the full page — a header alone won't do, because we need to see both your name and the address together.
Screenshots from an online banking app are accepted as long as the provider's name, your name and the date are all visible. Anything older than three months, or addressed to someone else, will be declined.
How long does verification take at Win Spin?
Our team reviews most documents within 24 hours of upload, and often much sooner. You'll get an email the moment your account is verified or if we need anything else.
We recommend completing KYC as soon as you open your account rather than waiting until you want to cash out. Doing it early means there's no hold-up later — once you're verified, withdrawals can be processed in as little as an hour. See our withdrawal page for how the cash-out flow works after verification.
If a document is declined, don't worry — we tell you exactly why, and you simply re-upload a corrected version.
Why was my document rejected?
The usual culprits are blurry images, cut-off corners, expired documents or a name that doesn't match your account. Fix the issue, re-upload, and the review restarts.
Here are the reasons we most often send a document back:
- Poor quality — out of focus, too dark, or glare hiding key details.
- Incomplete — an edge or corner is cropped off.
- Out of date — an expired ID or a bill older than three months.
- Mismatch — the name or address doesn't match your registration.
- Edited files — anything that looks altered is refused.
Register with your own real details from the start and these problems rarely arise. Gambling should stay fun — if it ever feels like more than that, set a limit or take a break, and you can reach GamCare free on 0808 8020 133 or at gamcare.org.uk.
Which ID documents does Win Spin accept?
We accept a passport, national ID card or a full driving licence as your proof of identity. Any one of these is enough, provided it is current and clearly readable.
Send a photo or scan of the full document with all four corners visible. The details we check are your full name, date of birth, document number and expiry date — so nothing can be cut off or obscured by a flash. Colour images only; black-and-white copies are rejected.
- Passport — the main photo page.
- Driving licence — front and, where relevant, back.
- National ID card — both sides.
If your document has expired, renew it first. An out-of-date ID is one of the most common reasons a submission is sent back.
